MassBay Esports Featured in MetroWest Daily News

The MassBay Esports program was recently featured in a story by the MetroWest Daily News.

When he's tried physical sports such as cross-country or basketball, Marcelo Dos Santos's weak ankle hampers his ability to participate.  

Besides, college sports are halted right now due to the coronavirus. But those obstacles disappear when he competes in a new program at Massachusetts Bay Community College — esports. It's given him a chance to make friends at a time when campus is shuttered.

"Without esports, I wouldn't have met them," said Santos, an 18-year-old from Milford studying cybersecurity at MassBay.
