MEN'S BASKETBALL: Bucs lock up #5 seed in upcoming Region 21 Tournament

The MassBay Community College men’s basketball team is headed to postseason play.

The Buccaneers have secured the No. 5 seed in the NJCAA Region 21 Tournament, which tips off Wednesday, February 25. MassBay enters the final week of the regular season at 12-11 overall and 11-9 in Region 21 play, with one game remaining before tournament action begins.

The Bucs will wrap up the regular season on Sunday at Quinsigamond Community College before turning their attention to the postseason. MassBay will open tournament play on the road Wednesday at Community College of Rhode Island in a first-round matchup.
