MassBay Celebrates #NJCAADay

MassBay joins the NJCAA in celebrating #NJCAADay on Thursday October 20th, 2022.

Often called JUCO, the NJCAA provides the opportunity for student-athletes across the country to compete at the highest levels of their respective sports.  The NJCAA serves as a launchpad, reset point, or first opportunity for thousands of student-athletes each year.  With this year's NJCAA Day theme of The Journey Begins Here, the NJCAA aims to shine a spotlight on the stories of triumph and success that have come from the association each year since its inception in 1938.The NJCAA is not just JUCO. The NJCAA defines JUCO.

"Each year, NJCAA Day provides an opportunity for the association to engage with its membership, alumni, and supporters," stated Dr. Christopher J. Parker, NJCAAPresident & CEO.  "With this year's theme, we are excited to celebrate the countless student-athletes who began their journey in two-year collegiate athletics." 

The MassBay Department of Athletics embraces the NJCAA philosophy, and proudly offers opportunities for a wide range of student-athletes. We are proud of all of our Bucs - past and present, and will continue to follow the NJCAA's lead in developing and mentoring exceptional student-athletes.
