After serving as MassBay's Assistant Men's Soccer coach for the past two years, Kidwé Sandiford has officially been promoted to Head Coach just prior to the 2024 season.

In addition to his coaching experience with the Bucs, Sandiford also holds Grassroots and D course coaching badges with the USA soccer program. During his playing days, he represented his home country of Barbados at the U17 and U21 levels. Sandiford also played in the premier league in Barbados for The University of the West Indies. 

Sandiford is also a former student at MassBay, and said "there is nothing more I want than to honor this institution that I have fallen in love with. Like the school motto says, 'start here, go anywhere,' and that is the message I will strive to pass onto my team as we seek to achieve success."

"I am very excited that Kidwé has taken over as the head coach of our men's soccer program" commented Assistant Dean for Athletics Adam Nelson. "He has shown great passion for MassBay and our student-athletes over the past two years as an assistant coach, and I know that he will be very successful leading our program."
